AVA’s Development Officer, Sharon Francis will be hosting an online Supporting Independent Living Forum entitled ‘Home Is Where the Heart Is’ on the 30th of March.
AVA has a range of fantastic speakers lined up including:
- Presentation by Laura Hendry and Tony Hadley, Support Leads, Cornerstone SDS with Q&A
- Presentation by Aimi Blueman, Hospital Homecoming Development Officer, AVA with Q&A
- Presentation by Susie and Stroma from Braemar Care with Q&A
- Presentation by Alistair Minty from Positively Minty with Q&A
Sharon’s forums will be underpinned with the value of retaining independence at home and within a community and how this supports one’s wellbeing. Enjoyment and sharing will also underpin the forums where time for connecting, and networking will be factored in.
