AVA’s Development Officer, Rhona Davidson will be hosting AVA's first FREE online Governance Forum on the 29th of March. This forum is open to any group/organisation operating in the Aberdeenshire area from the not-for-profit sector.
A fantastic and engaging event is planned!
- This is your opportunity to hear first-hand from the Head of Legislation and Improvement for OSCR of the updates and new plans they wish to reveal.
- Pose a question in advance, which shall be shared on the day, to both OSCR and AVA’s Governance Specialist.
- Hear the exciting updates from AVA and how they could potentially help your organisation.
- Connect to other like-minded Third Sector organisations seeking Governance support.
AVA is delighted to welcome Martin Tyson, (Head of Legislation and Improvement) from the Official Scottish Charity Regulator, (OSCR) as our main speaker to the event. A Q&A session shall follow, and AVA encourage that you pose your questions in advance via the sign-up e-link.
This will also be your chance to connect or re-connect to AVA and find out about what we can offer your organisation and how these could potentially help your development. AVA again would appreciate your connection and encourage any burning generic governance questions to be submitted in advance of the event, via the sign-up e-link.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to participate in both a short poll and the chance to connect to other groups operating around the Aberdeenshire area and discuss general questions/scenarios.
