Dawn Brown
Dawn has been with The Garioch Partnership since 2014. She graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Learning & Development in 2017, and is currently studying for her Masters. She is interested in supporting communities to build resilience and to continue to flourish, and has specialist interests in community empowerment and funding for community groups. She has a strong belief that experts are the people in communities and is lucky to help folk work together to make great things happen!
Dawn is a keen reader – whether that is a government policy paper, consultation or a good book. She enjoys music, gigs and films, and does crochet to relax – when she gets peace from her son who likes to stay active and busy! Having grown up in Inverurie, Dawn still identifies as a local lass, attending Kellands Primary and then Inverurie Academy, before moving away to college, to work and then coming back to settle down, now staying in Alford.
"Let’s meet soon for a good blether (and hopefully a fine piece and cuppa) and see how I can help your group achieve its goals."
